Terms of use
Last updated 2 November 2026
These terms cover your use of Melyon at melyon.xyz. Using the site or the app means you accept them. They’re written in plain language on purpose. If something is unclear, ask us on X before you trade.
1. What Melyon is
Melyon is software. You write a trade in your own words. An AI (Claude, made by Anthropic) drafts rules from them, and you read and approve those rules. Melyon then runs them with real money from your own accounts, or only sends you alerts when they would trade.
Live trades go to third-party venues:
- Robinhood Chain, from your own wallet: stock tokens and other tokens, routed through Uniswap and KyberSwap, and new tokens on the Pons launchpad’s bonding curves.
- Hyperliquid, from your own account: perps, stock perps (HIP-3) and prediction markets (HIP-4).
Melyon is not a broker, an exchange, a bank or an investment adviser. Nothing on the site is financial, legal or tax advice. The example strategies are examples, not recommendations.
2. Your money stays yours
Melyon never holds your funds. Your money sits in your own Robinhood Chain wallet and your own Hyperliquid account. The wallets Melyon creates for you are embedded wallets run by Privy. They belong to you and you can export their keys.
When you turn on live trading you give Melyon limited permission to sign for you. On Robinhood Chain it can sign trades, but it can’t withdraw or send your money elsewhere. On Hyperliquid it uses an agent (API) wallet that can place and cancel orders but can’t withdraw. You can stop any strategy at any time, and you can move your money out whenever you like.
3. Who can use it
- You must be at least 18 and allowed to enter into these terms where you live.
- You’re responsible for making sure trading these products is legal for you. The venues and products Melyon connects to have their own rules, and following them is up to you.
- You can’t use Melyon if you’re on a sanctions list or acting for someone who is.
4. You are in charge of your trades
Every strategy runs the rules you approved, with the amount you chose. You decide when it starts and when it stops. Read the rules before you start: the AI that drafts them can misunderstand you, and a rule that reads right can still behave in a way you didn’t expect in a fast market.
The same goes for copy trading. When you copy a wallet or a Hyperliquid account (or, where Melyon offers it, an X account that posts calls), Melyon follows what they do within the limits you set. You chose to follow them. Their trades can be bad, late or made in bad faith.
Past results don’t predict future ones. See the risks for more.
5. Connected accounts and assistants
- Telegram. If you connect it, Melyon sends your alerts there.
- X. Where Melyon offers “tweet a trade”, and you connect X and turn it on, tweets from your account that tag Melyon can start trades, only on the venues and within the limits you set in Settings. Melyon replies in public without showing amounts.
- AI assistants. Melyon has an MCP endpoint. With a key you create, an assistant can search markets, draft strategies and read your runs. It can’t start a trade. You’re responsible for the keys you create and the assistants you give them to.
6. Fees
- Writing strategies, testing them and running them as alerts is free.
- Trades on Hyperliquid pay Melyon a builder fee, collected by Hyperliquid: 0.10% on perps and prediction markets, and 1% on spot sells. Spot buys pay nothing. You approve the fee once when you turn on trading.
- Swaps on Robinhood Chain pay Melyon a 1% platform fee.
- Venues and networks charge their own fees on top, such as trading fees, funding, gas on Robinhood Chain, the Pons curve’s own fee and Hyperliquid’s $1 withdrawal fee.
- Rates can change. The current ones are shown in the app before you trade.
7. Products made by others
Melyon is not affiliated with Robinhood, Uniswap, Pons, Hyperliquid or Anthropic. Robinhood Stock Tokens are issued by a Robinhood entity, not by Melyon, under that issuer’s own terms. Tokens on Pons are made by whoever launched them. Melyon doesn’t back or vouch for any token or market it lets you trade.
8. Things outside our control
Melyon depends on other services: Robinhood Chain, Uniswap, KyberSwap, Pons, Hyperliquid, Privy, Anthropic, data providers and our hosting. They can go down, change, or fail to fill an order. Melyon can also have bugs or be offline. When that happens a strategy can miss a trade, trade late, or not close a position when its rule says it should. Stops placed on Hyperliquid itself keep working while Melyon is down; stops on Robinhood Chain tokens don’t.
Melyon is provided as it is, without guarantees. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for trading losses, missed trades, venue failures or indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid Melyon in the three months before the claim.
9. Fair use
Don’t try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, use it for market manipulation, or use someone else’s account. We can limit or close access for anyone who does, or where the law requires it. Your funds stay in your own wallet either way.
10. Your strategies are private
Your strategies and runs are visible only to you. Melyon doesn’t publish them, and there are no public pages about you. Your trades are still public on-chain, like anyone’s. See privacy for details.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters, we’ll say so on the site before it applies. Using Melyon after that means you accept the new terms.
